  • If you’re a Global member, you can enroll to get $2,000 in AD&D insurance coverage at no cost.
  • You can also choose to increase your coverage for yourself or your family, up to $500,000.

There’s no need to take a medical exam or answer any medical questions. Acceptance is guaranteed for Global members.

AD&D Insurance FAQs

While life insurance provides coverage if you die unexpectedly from a variety of causes, AD&D only provides coverage for serious injuries or death caused by a covered accident.

In some cases, you may need to answer medical questions or take a medical exam to qualify for life insurance. With TruStage AD&D insurance, there are no health questions or medical exams required.

AD&D insurance pays a cash benefit if you die in an accident that’s covered by your policy. It also pays benefits for covered injuries caused by a covered accident, including loss of eyesight, hearing, or speech, or the loss of a hand, foot, eye, thumb or index finger.

Your policy includes all the details about what types of accidents and situations are covered by your AD&D insurance.

Your insurance needs depend on your specific situation, so it’s best to talk with an agent or broker about what’s best for your family. Life insurance offers coverage in more situations than AD&D insurance, but it can also be more expensive.

AD&D insurance also adds coverage for specific injuries from accidents, which are usually not covered by life insurance.
