Loan application FAQs

In most cases, we can make a decision on your loan application in under 24 hours.  You will receive an email at the address you used in your application notifying you of the decision or you can check your application status online.

In some cases, we may need to ask you for more details, and then the process takes a little longer.

You’ll need to provide the following information on your car loan application: 

  • Name 
  • Social security number 
  • Physical and mailing address 
  • Employment information 
  • Gross monthly income 
  • Date of birth 

In some cases, we may ask for additional information after you submit your application.  

No, you don’t have to be a member to apply, but you do need to become a member if you want to take the loan. But don’t worry —it’s quick and easy to join Global.

When you apply for a loan, we ask if you’re already a Global member. If you’re not, just follow the instructions at the end of the application process to join.

If your loan is approved, we’ll give you the loan documents you need to take with you to the dealership. You’ll also need to take your driver’s license and proof of insurance with you.
