More than 75 years serving the military

We’ve been deeply connected to the military community from the very beginning, when a small group of volunteers at the Alaska Air Depot formed the credit union in 1948.

We owe a great debt of gratitude to this country’s Veterans—not just for their service, but for their contributions to the credit union as members, employees, and Global’s all-volunteer board of directors.

Helping Veterans in need
The Global Credit Union Foundation provides financial support to non-profit organizations that benefit children, Veterans, military personnel and their families, and local food banks and pantries. Since 2003 the Foundation has distributed more than $4 million to partner organizations—more than 99% of the funds they raise.

GCU/GHL operations, products and/or services do not originate from, and are not endorsed by the Veterans Administration (VA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) or Federal Housing Administration (FHA).
