Alaska USA Appoints New Executive Leadership

Additional leadership to strengthen member experience and commitment to community

ANCHORAGE, Alaska—Alaska USA Federal Credit Union (Alaska USA) welcomes seven new executives to the executive team: five from the merger with Global Credit Union (Global), A Division of Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, one new industry hire and one promotion of a long-time employee

Jack Fallis has joined Alaska USA as Regional President, Pacific Northwest and International Markets. Jack was recently president/CEO of Global and has extensive knowledge of leading credit unions, supporting the military and communities in the area and local nonprofits throughout the region.
Mary Starkey has joined Alaska USA as Senior Vice President, Operations. Mary has more than 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Mary is actively involved in her community, serving as an Honorary Commander at Fairchild Air Force Base and as a trustee of Spokane Public Libraries.
David Vanzant has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Enterprise Security. Vanzant has been with Alaska USA for more than five years, most recently as Vice President, Enterprise Security. Vanzant holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Eastern New Mexico University and a master’s degree in homeland security/strategic studies from the US Marine Corps University.
Tim Cassels has joined Alaska USA as Vice President, Capital Planning and Financial Risk Management. Tim has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry working at several banks in the Pacific Northwest before joining Global more than six years ago.
Kim Shill has joined Alaska USA as Vice President, Consumer Lending Administration and Servicing. Kim has more than 30 years of lending experience, most recently leading all lending areas as Global Credit Union.
Abigail Franklin has joined Alaska USA as Vice President, Marketing. Abigail has more than 25 years in the marketing industry and with Global.
  Bill Rosetti has joined Alaska USA as Vice President, Enterprise Architecture. Bill has more than 20 years’ experience in technology management.
  Tom Bentley has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Internal Audit. Tom has held positions of increasing responsibility within Alaska USA for more than 15 years, most recently serving as the supervisor for the internal audit department.
