Your account is moving from First Financial Northwest to Global Credit Union. You’ll get all the details you need by mail and email, and we’re here to help in person or over the phone if you need it.
Your account will officially be with Global Credit Union starting November 1, 2025. On that day, you’ll be able to use your new debit card and enroll in online banking.
We’ll send you a series of emails and letters with some basic instructions and reminders. You’ll also get a personalized packet in the mail with all your account details.

We’re excited to announce that First Financial Northwest (FFNW) customers and employees will soon become part of the Global Credit Union family. That means you’ll have membership in Global Credit Union and access to world-class service, more branch options, and new financial products and services.
We’ll be working behind the scenes to ensure your accounts are converted to Global as smoothly and seamlessly as possible. No changes to FFNW accounts, services, or branches will occur until the fall of 2025, when we will begin converting accounts.

A handful of civilian employees at the Alaska Air Depot were having difficulty with getting the loans they needed from local banks to set down roots in Alaska. Instead, they pooled their savings—and faith in one another—and created the credit union to lend the much-needed cash.
