The Global Credit Union Nominating Committee is accepting letters of interest from members who wish to become candidates in 2024 for positions available on the Board of Directors. Credit union officials serve in an unpaid, volunteer capacity and must be available to attend monthly meetings.
Positions available: 2 three-year term positions
In accordance with the credit union’s bylaws, it is the duty of the Nominating Committee to nominate at least one member for each vacancy on the Board of Directors. The Committee nominates members they consider qualified and who represent the membership and membership areas served. They attempt to have a cross-sectional representation of the membership, avoiding concentrations by any one membership area, organization, employer, rank, grade, or other common denominator.
Members who submit letters of interest should include their full name, account number, current address, phone number, qualifications, and any related experience.

Letters of interest must be received no later than August 18, 2023. Names and qualifications of candidates nominated will be published in the Fall issue of the Member News with information regarding the petition method of candidacy. Ballots will be mailed to members in March 2024, and the election results will be announced at the 2024 Annual Meeting.
