Operation Homefront

Alaska USA has been focused on supporting service members, veterans, and their families since the credit union formed in 1948. That’s why Operation Homefront and the programs they offer in Alaska, Arizona, California, and Washington have been chosen as one of our primary non-profit partnerships.

We recently helped organize volunteers for Operation Homefront’s Back-to-School Brigade®, their nationwide school supply collection and distribution campaign. More than 400,000 backpacks were distributed to the children of military families, saving them nearly $50 million in school expenses.
