Global Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial services cooperative. Our earnings are returned to more than 714,000 member-owners in the form of reduced loan rates, lower fees, and higher dividends.
Global specializes in providing financial services to individual consumers, rather than earning a profit for stockholders.
Who can join?
People who live, work, worship, or attend school in Alaska, Washington, California's San Bernardino County, Arizona's Maricopa County, and Idaho's Kootenai County can join Global. Membership is also available to anyone employed by the Department of Defense, anywhere in the world, and immediate family members of credit union members are also eligible to join.
It’s easy to check your eligibility, so please feel free to discuss membership with your local branch or contact the Member Service Center. Once someone is a member of a credit union, they are always a member provided they maintain the minimum balance for their account—even if they change jobs, retire, or move away.

Visit a branch
Bring a valid photo ID, a secondary form of ID, and $5 for your membership fee. For minors please bring a birth certificate.
Access to services nationwide
Global participates in the CO-OP Shared Branch network, giving members in-person access to their credit union accounts at thousands of shared branch locations worldwide.
Most shared branching locations offer deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, and Visa cash advances. Many locations also offer transfers, statement printouts, check withdrawals, money orders, travelers checks, and notary services.
