With the Advantage Pay privilege you won't have to worry that a check or automatic withdrawal from your checking account might be returned if you're low on funds. Funds for overdrafts first will come from your overdraft protection, but if sufficient funds aren't available, we'll cover your overdrafts up to $1000 which helps you:
Isn't overdrawing my account a bad thing?
Well, it's not a good thing, but we understand that mistakes happen. That's why we offer Advantage Pay. We know that good people make mistakes and we're here to help.
How do I get it?
There are some simple qualifications. If you are at least 18 years old and have a checking account in good standing, you already have it.
How do I use it?
This service requires no action from you-no forms to fill out, no calls to make. If you have other overdraft protection products such as transfers from savings and/or a loan or credit card, these will be activated first in the order you've established. If there is no overdraft protection, or after the other resources have been depleted, Advantage Pay will be activated-automatically.
How do I repay you?
You should bring your account positive on or before the 30th day from the date of the initial overdraft. Any deposits received while your account is overdrawn will be applied first to your overdrawn checking balance.
What if I exceed my limit?
If you exceed the Advantage Pay Limit of $1000, your items will not be paid and will be returned. Our standard NSF fee will be assessed.
What happens if I cannot bring my account to a positive balance?
If you cannot bring your account to a positive balance within the 30 day repayment period, your Advantage Pay privileges will be suspended or revoked and collection procedures will be initiated.
