2004 Army Distinguished Credit Union Service Award
The distinguished service award was presented to Jack L. Fallis, Jr. Global Credit Union President/CEO at the Defense Credit Union Council annual conference in Charleston, South Carolina, on August 22, 2005.
Fallis, upon receiving the award commented, "Winning this award reflects the commitment of the Global team to provide world-class service to every member of the credit union family. This achievement recognizes all of our employees for taking that extra step to set the bar of excellence one notch higher when providing valuable financial service to the men and women of the United States Army."
Major General David T. Zabecki, commanding general United States Army Southern European Task Force (Airborne), observed in recent remarks, "Global Credit Union is a great asset to this command and this community. Thank you to the credit union staff for the continuous financial support of our soldiers and their family members through providing quality products and excellent serve."
Global Credit Union was recognized in 1996 by the United States Air Force as their Best in the Air Force credit union. Global Credit Union provides services on military installations at Aviano Air Base, Camp Ederle, Vicenza and Camp Darby, Tirrenia, and in the State of Washington at Fairchild Air Force Base.
